Hosted by Councilwoman Gloria D. Gray, Family Unity Day at Darby Park is a free, family-friendly community celebration bringing together residents of Inglewood for an afternoon of food, fun, and connection. Taking place on Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 12pm to 5pm, the event features live entertainment, games, *free food, including hot dogs, burgers, tacos and ice cream, live music, lawn games, and activities for all ages.

Attendees are encouraged to bring food, chairs and/or blankets to relax and enjoy the day. Local organizations will be on hand to share resources, and city officials will be present to engage with the community. Family Unity Day highlights the spirit of Inglewood, fostering unity, joy, and neighborhood pride.

Gates open at 11:00am.

Getting There:

Public Transit:
Darby Park is easily accessible by several LA Metro and local bus routes:

Metro Bus Line 115 – Stops directly along Arbor Vitae St.
Metro Bus Line 210 – Runs north/south along Crenshaw Blvd, a short walk from the park.
K Line Metro Rail – Exit at Downtown Inglewood Station and take a short 7-minute rideshare or bus ride to the park.

Rideshare:

Use “3450 Pincay Dr.” as your drop-off location.
A designated rideshare zone will be located at the main entrance on Arbor Vitae for easy pick-up and drop-off.

Parking:

Free parking is available just blocks away at Sofi Stadium (3598 Pincay Dr.) with free shuttle service starting at 11:00am until 1-hour following the end of the event
Additional street parking available in the surrounding residential area.
